1. Who can benefit from Especially Needed Gift Boxes?

 Kids Gift Boxes are designed for children with autism, Down syndrome, and other developmental disabilities. However, we encourage siblings, cousins and friends to join in on the fun.  With some adult direction these toys and books can be a fun family activity that promotes inclusion, engagement and relationship building! 

 Parent Gift Boxes- To start, we created a Mom's Gift Box, but we haven’t forgotten about you Dads! These boxes are created to encourage self-care and mindfulness, and to remind us we are not alone in our experiences.

 2.  What age group are your Kids Gift Boxes for?

At this time, age level generally ranges from Pre-K-2nd Grade. Kids Gift Boxes are also appropriate for older schoolchildren with cognitive or receptive language impairments.  Children's development varies widely and is individual to each child.  We look forward to creating Gift Boxes for all learning levels and varied interests.

3.  What is your Return Policy?

We want you to be 100% happy with your Gift Box! If you are unsatisfied, we are happy to accept a return of your Gift Box in exchange for store credit/refund. Please email us and ship back your box within 3 days of receipt. Customer is responsible for return shipping cost.The box must be returned in its original condition and packaging (Gift Box must be wrapped in an outer poly bag, or another box. Bare Gift Boxes without protective packaging, or missing contents will not be accepted for returns). Return for store credit/refund is only acceptable for brand new Boxes in its original condition with full contents and original/appropriate packaging. We do not provide store credit for returned products that are opened, used,  returned after 3 days, damaged due to misuse, lack of care, mishandling, accident, abuse, or other abnormal use. We are not liable for products that are damaged or lost in transit back to us, therefore please ensure  box is packaged securely when being returned.  

4.  What if an item or package arrived damaged?

We replace individual items that are damaged, missing, or defective. Please email us at support@especiallyneededcurations.com and attach required photo evidence of any damages/defects within 3 days of receiving box. Our team will gladly ship you any replacements for items ASAP!  Unfortunately, we cannot be responsible for items that are broken during or after use. Please always supervise your child to make sure that the toys are being used appropriately.

5.  What if my box is lost/stolen?

Every box comes with tracking, and is domestically insured by USPS up to $100. Especially Needed Curations is not responsible for lost/stolen packages once marked as delivered by USPS or inaccurate addresses entered by the buyer. All claims for lost/stolen items can be made through USPS's official website using your tracking number, or made at your local post office. Please ensure there is a secure location for you to receive packages, or request boxes to be held at your local post office for pick up to ensure safe delivery.
